We believe this multidisciplinary approach encourages the exchange of alternative perspectives on health and health care. Those who are interested in applying should contact SIHA's Alberta Projects or SIHA's Tanzania Projects.

Those interested in SIHA's international projects are required to first participate in SIHA's Alberta Projects (for a minimum of one (1) semester). During the first year of SIHA's Tanzania Projects, the members will be a part of a team to travel abroad to promote health awareness. This involves living in challenging conditions and delivering multiple health seminars a day, along with community engagement and varying responsibilities determined by our partners in Tanzania. Upon return from Tanzania, the members have the opportunity to fulfill roles on the executive, where the planning and daily running of SIHA projects occur.

Travel preparation and project planning can be extensive for members selected to travel to Tanzania, a large devotion of time and energy is required to make SIHA's projects run smoothly. If you wish to apply to SIHA Tanzania Projects, please complete the application and individual interview process for SIHA Alberta Projects first.
